how can i come to the conclusion of being an owner of a new car that one day, there is a slight chance that it will be handed to me used and matured in value? i knew what i was getting myself into once she asked: "if something ever hurt my car and im no longer able to keep it, would you?"but did i really understand WHAT I WAS GETTING myself into! it’s a sticky situation when that question is asked and you have no idea how to handle it.
for a guy like me, having this car would a great deal of value to me and of course it's previous owners but HOW do i come to realize it is now my responsibility. after talking to this lady ( which i might ask, is not a complete stranger ) i was happy with the decision i made. well that was about two months ago and now that i am dwelling on the fact that i will be signing the contract formally on sunday, i am having those second thoughts. see, i would not be second guessing on my choice if it has not been for a conversation that the owner and i had. she came to the decision ( which i hate hearing ) "i don’t want to grow old" -- that really set my butt on fire! all the thoughts i came to think about was her car! in fact, i would have cared less if she didn’t have a car and said the exact same line.
let’s be real honest here. i am only 21 years of age. i am still tooooo ( and i mean FAR from age ) to have this responsibility. so, what should i do? option one: kill myself before sunday option two: lose all contact with the owner. option three: make sure the owner NEVER dies or option four: go with the flow.
well option one will be out of the question, because i just want my new iphone and it's not being released before sunday. option two would sound really nice but i like her around to hear her dumb remarks. option three would be ideal but i have not enough resources to keep her from dying or let alone interfere with god’s plan. so, i guess option four might work but i still have a lot of options with option four.
whatever the case is, i know i will make the right decision that is the best for ALL that is involved. for god sakes, it is ONLY a human. how are could it be raising someone's kid? i really wouldn’t know how to deal with the lost of a close friend AND taking care of her baby. let’s just hope she lives close to forever and i am still going to be a part of her son's life either way-- depending on how the cookie crumbles.
